what is earthdance

Earthdance is a global movement that promotes peace through music and dance,

born out of the dance music scene. Founded in 1997, the event has grown to become the world's largest underground charity dance event for peace.
 

Since its inception, over 700 events have been held in more than 50 countries, with a focus on promoting unity and global synchronization.
 

As we contemplate the Garden Route's stunning natural beauty – think rugged coastline, Indigenous forests, and majestic mountains – we find resonance in Earthdance's mission: [fostering global unity through music, dance, and community] 

The synchronized affirmations for peace on this day become a clarion call to align ourselves with nature's rhythms.
